EndNote: Introduction to reference management
EndNote is a reference management system developed especially for natural scientists and physicians. You will be given an introduction into how you can manage and distribute your bibliographic data by using the EndNote software.

Allgemeine Informationen

- Create your own database (Reference Library)
- Create and manage bibliographic data
- Work with literature databases (e.g. PubMed or Web of Science)
- Import references
- Establish groups and link these to full texts (PDF)
- Format citations and insert these into text documents (e.g. MS Word)
- Create bibliographies
Basic skillls in searching literature databases (e.g. Pubmed) / Basic PC and MS Office skills.
Endnote is particularly suited for science or medical studies.
In the course you will learn the different facets of EndNote to manage and distribute your bibliographic data.
- EndNote must be installed with the plug-ins before the course starts, as there is no time for installation during the course. For the installation of EndNote and the plugins, you will find all the necessary information here: https://endnote.com/downloads/30-day-trial and https://clarivate.com/webofsciencegroup/support/endnote/
- Basic knowledge of literature databases in your own subject area (e.g. Pubmed)
- Basic knowledge of the word processing programme Word.
