Scientific Workflows on Science IT Infrastructure
This online workshop is designed for current users of Science IT computing services (ScienceCloud, ScienceCluster) who have previous experience with working on the command line.
The workshop will equip users with essential tips and tricks to optimise their research workflows. The course will cover topics such as reproducibility, GitLab structure, parallelisation, GPU usage, monitoring, benchmarking, and containerisation.
There will be opportunities to discuss research challenges in specificity with Science IT consultants after each session.

There will be an opportunity for questions and discussion after each session.
As there are no interactive exercises, the course is welcome to anyone regardless of previous experience. However, if you have not taken any of the Science IT trainings on how to use Science IT infrastructure, we recommend doing so: https://zi-training.zi.uzh.ch/en/page/scientific-computing
Current users of Science IT computing services (ScienceCloud, ScienceCluster) who would like to use Science IT computing services for their research workflows.
At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to effectively use Science IT computing services (ScienceCloud, ScienceCluster) to optimize their research workflows, using reproducible environments and containerization.
The sessions on day 1 are connected, and users are encouraged to attend the 1st session (Reproducibility, etc.) if you intend on taking the 2nd (GPUs). The sessions on the second day are independent.
