Science IT: ScienceCloud base

The ScienceCloud base course aims at providing you with a better understanding of how the Science IT's cloud computing service works and how you can use it to improve your research.

The course will cover a broad range of topics starting from the very basic introduction to ScienceCloud to a more complex and advanced use of the cloud computing service, including: How to log-in, how to create and control instances, how to create and manage data volumes, and how to put all of the above together (orchestrate) to serve your computational research needs and more. The ScienceCloud base course targets both ScienceCloud end-users (ie. researchers) as well as IT coordinators that support researchers.

Make sure to have your laptop computer ready and meet the course requirements described below.

The course will follow the contents of the "ScienceCloud Training Handout".
